Acrovyn ® is the first of it’s kind.
CS was the first manufacturer to launch a complete PVC-free wall protection line–Acrovyn®. This legendary material is now relaunched as the first wall protection product with recycled content from post-consumer PET bottles or food-grade single-use plastics.
Health + performance.
To reduce the embodied carbon of Acrovyn, we switched our resin to utilize post-consumer recycled content. This innovation allowed us to maintain the performance characteristics while enhancing material health, leading to better outcomes for all.

ACROVYN® WITH RECYCLED CONTENT
Shredded single-use PET plastic is reduced to its basic form and re-polymerized with a Glycol monomer to create new PETG resin. PETG resin pellets are mixed with colorants and laminated to create numerous Acrovyn sheet colorways. Material health in a circular economy.

Climate Health in a Circular Economy. By incorporating post-consumer recycled content into Acrovyn, we've reduced the embodied carbon of the product without sacrificing performance. This is circularity as a climate strategy.
Lower embodied carbon, built in.
Using recycled PET helps avoid the emissions tied to virgin plastic production. One Acrovyn sheet now reuses130 plastic bottles that would otherwise contribute to waste or emissions.
Verified EPDs
Third-party verified EPDs give credibility to our carbon reduction claims-proving they’re not just theoretical, but real, measurable, and market-relevant. Optimization is on the horizon. We’re not stopping at transparency-product optimization is our next target.
Recyclability
Acrovyn is 100% recyclable, meaning it can be reused at its end of life. This helps reduce the carbon emissions associated with raw material extraction in other product supply chains.

PVC AND RED-LIST FREE PVC-free Acrovyn contains no halogens or other known persistent bioaccumulative toxins (PBTs). Acrovyn Sheet Solid Color is Red-List Free and backed by a RLF Declare Label. HEALTH PRODUCT DECLARATION Ingredient transparency with LEED compliant HPD at 100ppm. INDOOR AIR QUALITY Intertek Certified Clean Air Gold, meeting the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) 01350v1.2 Indoor air quality standard for low- emitting products.
100% RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY Conducted energy audits and implementing energy reduction projects at our final manufacturing facility in Hughesville, PA. Along with using 100% wind electricity through power purchasing agreements at our PA manufacturing locations. LOW EMBODIED CARBON 38 product-specific wall protection EPD’s, including one for wall covering.
Circular Economy
RECYCLED CONTENT Select wall covering products with up to 50% post-consumer recycled content. SAMPLES TAKE BACK Returning unneeded samples is now as simple as checking a box at checkout, providing another way to participate in our sustainability practices.
